My Catering Business!

My name is Evadney Giffith and this is my story, I am 40 years old born and raise in St.Croix Virgin Islands. My beautiful island has nice beaches and excellent cook. I am also a great cook,I had lots of parties in the past where I actually cook all the food. My friends and family from church even wanted to know my recipes for some of the food I made. Thanks to my mom as a small child I use to watch her in the kitchen and little did she know I would wait until she go sleep at night and go cook rice and I felt so good it came out right, The next morning I told my mom I can cook rice now Lol,this was when I was 13 years old. Then I step up and started making other stuff such as chicken,stew meat etc. My mom even had me cooking almost every Sunday and during the week. Opening a catering and wedding planner is my dreams but do not have the funds to get it done so I am just working on my wedding planner and decorations for now.



I am an honest and friendly individual. I love to help others and see people smile. I got married in 2004 but sadly my late husband got taken away violently. I was left with 4 little girls to raise on my own they age at the time were 3yrs,4yrs,3mths. and 7yrs. Now 7 years later they are now 7yrs,9yrs,11yrs and 16yrs. The years was rough for me but luckly 8 months after my husband died I met a handsome young man into my life,someone I had known since childhood. We decide to relocated to the state of Orlando Florida. We wanted a better life. We now have 2 girls ages 4years and 6 years and yes I have 6 girls in all. I now live in Homestead Florida.

The reason for my blog is because to get the word out about my new business. I decided to get into a business that caters to gorgeous centerpieces and Decorations because years back when I got married in 2004 I created and design my wedding with the help of family and friends. When guest family and friends saw the wedding outlook they all was shock and amaze to see the uniqueness of the setup. They even told me I should think about becoming a wedding planner. Years later I decided to get into making my own creations. My main focus is to let others know of my beautiful handmade creation. Pictures are beautiful but seeing the centerpieces in person makes it look even more stunning and rich!
